New customs regulations for exporting "Russia", "Britain" and "Germany"
Publication time:2021-08-30     Reading times:

6-digit HS code must be provided for goods exported to Russia

According to the requirements of Russian customs, all goods to Russia and transit here must provide 6-digit HS code. If multiple goods are mixed and different HS codes are involved, please send the goods information separately according to HS code to avoid incomplete declaration and customs fines.

Goods exported to Britain shall have payment certificate and CE certification

1. The shipment sent to the UK through FedEx must be provided with payment voucher. If it is not provided, it will be returned. The accompanying data shall be attached before delivery!

2. Exporting to the UK without CE certification may be subject to the risk of being detained and investigated by the customs, mainly for electronic and mechanical products. "CE" mark is a safety certification mark, which is regarded as the passport opened by the manufacturer and entering the European market. CE stands for European unification. In the EU market, "CE" mark is a compulsory certification mark. Whether products produced by enterprises within the EU or products produced by other countries, in order to circulate freely in the EU market, they must be affixed with "CE" mark to show that the products meet the basic requirements of the EU new method of technical coordination and standardization directive. This is a mandatory requirement for products under EU law.

Mechanical and electrical products exported to Germany should pay attention to the following points

1. Germany has no trade restrictions on the import of general mechanical and electrical products (such as cutting tools, agricultural machines and tools, machine tools, steel rolling equipment, agricultural machinery, tractors, office machinery, electronic and electrical technology products, etc.) and does not need import licenses. However, there are trade restrictions on the import of bicycles. German Importers can only import bicycles after applying for Import Supervision documents from German government departments in advance.

2. Germany's taxes on imported goods include customs duties and import value-added tax, and individual goods have to pay additional anti-dumping duties. German Customs has detailed tariff rate provisions according to different commodity items and tariff rules, for example, the increase of tariff is 3.2%; The normal tariff of color TV sets is 14%. 44.6% anti-dumping duty is levied on color TV sets of different sizes in China, including 42 cm and below, 42-52 cm, 52-72 cm and above. The import value-added tax is generally 16%, and the scope of this tax is the goods imported from a third country outside the EU.

3. Germany implements the EU unified safety standard - CE mark.

4. China's shipping companies set unfair freight rates for import and export goods. Taking the freight rate of 40 foot container from Chinese port to European route as an example, export goods can be US $2400-2600 per container and import goods can be US $600-700. It is very unfavorable to the cost accounting of export products, thus affecting the transaction and shipment.
